The Machinists Institute, in conjunction with IAM 751, have partnered to deliver a preschool for Everett’s Machinists Union members and their families. This 12,261 SF facility includes two infant rooms, two toddler rooms, and 4 preschool classrooms which are equipped with restrooms and wash areas. Additional scope includes a commercial kitchen, staff restrooms and breakrooms, along with a multipurpose room used for classroom collaboration and student dining.
The project also includes a 1,000 SF expansion to accommodate the school’s new check in/out and entry space along with a 1,000 SF new immersive nature preschool building. Sitework includes a new playground, walking trails, parking lot, along with a new stormwater system and frontage improvements.
