"The Sealaska project was a unique opportunity to design with artistry and cultural heritage in mind. Incorporating actual artists' work into functional design adds distinct Native Southeast Alaska Indian Culture, as well as a contemporary vibe. The use of traditional native colors, carvings and homage to mother earth is thematic throughout Sealaska's space. The level of professionalism and coordination by Foushée with vendors and subcontractors was exemplary in accomplishing a very short construction schedule with a tight budget. Foushée stepped up many times with its subs to mitigate construction delays, thus ensuring the project's on time completion. Thank you to the Foushée team for a job well done on the Sealaska project."
