Description: Renovation and creative adaptive reuse of an obsolete bank vault space built in the 1980’s. A new glass storefront allows daylight and transparency to the once dark space, as well as presence at the street level. The new contemporary fitness center has a lounge area and locker rooms with showers and restrooms.
When we decided to locate a fitness center in an old bank vault, we considered several potential contractors. After talking with Foushée, it was apparent that they were the best choice. We engaged them early in the design process and they were invaluable in helping to solve constructability issues in a very difficult space. Foushée remained committed to not only completing the project, but continued to offer ideas on how to solve the hidden issues that confronted the project. At the same time, they completed the project on time and in budget. I would use them again and would recommend them without hesitation.
