Client: MON, LLC
Architect: Richert & Associates
Location: Seattle, WA

Description: A new three-story 15,000 sq. ft. structural steel framed addition to an existing office building. The building is constructed on a first floor structure of hollow core planks supported by steel piling over the waters of Lake Union. The building is located where approximately 5 boat slips had previously existed. The exterior siding consists of pre-finished metal siding and painted aluminum storefronts with high performance glass. There are 9 each exterior decks with concrete pavers as the wearing surface. South of the building are two large boat slip roofs, which were installed along with the building.
"Working with Foushée on the addition to the Marina Mart Building has been a very positive experience. I don't think that anyone could have foreseen the challenges presented by this over-the-water building project, but Foushée's experienced team did an outstanding job. They stayed on top of the numerous shoreline management issues and the project came in on time and on budget. The weekly team meetings kept me informed and allowed us to come up with creative solutions that helped the project run smoothly. I would definitely recommend Foushée."
