THALES AVIONICS

Client: Thales Avionics, Inc.
Architect: Lance Mueller & Associates
Location: Seattle, WA

Description: 65,000 sq. ft. tenant improvement in an existing two-story office building, including 50,000 sq. ft. on the first floor and 15,000 sq. ft. on the second. The project required complete interior demolition of existing offices to create a new avionic parts repair facility and accompanying office spaces. The space was previously a Boeing training and call center.
"Our vision was to create a world-class facility while increasing our branding recognition in the region. With a minimal timeframe (nine months from design to occupancy) and limited allocation of resources, bringing this project in on time and on budget would in itself create a challenge. Upon interviewing several contractors, the choice was immediately clear. We selected Foushée as our general contractor. From the first proposal to the final walk through, they were able to capture our vision, yet allowed us the option to be fully vested or completely hands-off throughout the project. The entire Foushée team kept us well-informed throughout every stage of this project. Even when inevitable problems arose, Foushée had an immediate contingency plan in place. Our project - creating the flagship facility we desired - ended on time and on budget."
